Great interview, giving us laymen a summary of all those wonderful papers and theories that are sometimes a little hard to read. With regard the "stone cold silence", archaeology is not the only topic this happens in, of course. It happens in psychology as well, especially that psychology that can explain this behaviour of mainstream academics.
