Source notes
Provides support for the argument that the 58mya dates for Hiawatha may have been obtained from sediment eroded from older impact events under the ice sheet that were transported by the ice into Hiawatha and eventually deposited in Hiawatha's outwash channel amongst impact material from Hiawatha itself. Most of the science prior to the 58mya dates indicated a significantly younger age.
