As a wiseman once told me, long periods of quiessence are subject to interruption by stochastic attacks with surprising frequency. So it was no surprise to the Tusk to see the YD impact deniers crawl out of the woodwork and publish a shrill and hysterical denial of peer-reviewed data last week.
I’m happy to publish the ad hominem and unscientific embarrassment that is Holliday et al. 2023. I hope people will read a just a portion of it, and perhaps a bit of related works below.

While I value my tenuous relationship with Mark Boslough, I did just get a shiver of glee running through my old body when reading Dr. Powell’s critique of Boslough’s vicious ad hominem attack on Alan West. Perhaps Dr. Boslough will pull his punch at my own pitiful accredations when he gets around to critiquing my peer reviewed paper on the Mid-Pleistocene impact of 788,00 years ago.
