Below is an excerpt from the Field Notes of the Andronikov expedition to inspect the black mat in Europe. At a site just west of Lommel, Holland they find an intriguing feature (above) that some interpret as possibly being a signature of an ancient tsunami at the onset of the Younger Dryas.

Your correspondent was doing some navel gazing last night and checked the academic “cites” for the soon to be even more famous 2007 paper, “Evidence for an extraterrestrial impact 12,900 years ago that contributed to the megafaunal extinctions and the Younger Dryas cooling.”
I’ll be darned if I did not come across a just-added citation from a group at the University…
